In April this year I was in contact with the pain management team in UHG regarding my pain procedure that I'm waiting on. I have been informed that there is now no waiting list, all has been cancelled because they don't have the beds in the day wards anymore as management has cancelled all day ward procedures. This is terrible for people like me waiting to get epidural and others for pain relief; shocked is not the word to the way I feel that I and others, are being treated. I was told that only 15 patients, yes 15 have been treated since January... Good god what's happening to our health services? This is immoral what they are doing! Leaving people suffer for, not months but years... In chronic pain. Unbelievable
