"Treatment for my alcoholic brother, his mental illness and depression"

He tried to kill himself twice the first by different methods, he was admitted to Tullamore hospital and then sent to Portlaose who wondered why they sent him. 😬They said they didn't treat alcoholics, the next day he was sent home, 3 weeks later he's still trying to end his life only so drunk he physically couldnt succeed my parents are shattered and can't cope, the psychiatrist said there was no point in having him committed he'd only be sent home the next day! It feels like there is no help out there, what a joke of a health system, St Pats wanted a lot of money to keep him, I'm so disgusted n shocked by the mental health service. Every time I turn on the radio they tell u to get help,  well in my opinion unless you have a very strong family there's no help!
