Dear Magpietn75,

Thank you very much for telling your story of going to the Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy programme, organised on behalf of the HSE Mental Health Service here in Sligo.

I am delighted that Mindfulness is being used more and more to help people in their everyday lives. Like anything, I suppose, it takes practice to learn - so well done for sticking with the programme!

There are a couple of resources I would like to share with you and others reading this: the first are the books Wherever you go, there you are and Full-Catastrophe Living both by Jon Kabat-Zinn; secondly there is also this video clip below of the 9 Attitudes of Mindfulness which I have found useful to return to from time to time.

Best of luck to you and a Very Merry Christmas.

Martin
