"Anxiety/OCD/PTSD"

About: Sligo/Leitrim Mental Health Services

(as the patient),

With anxiety I couldn’t function in public, I felt like I couldn’t breathe and my legs would shake constantly from stress. I felt horrible and I didn’t understand why this seemed to be only happening to me among so many people. Then with PTSD a lot changed, I lost a lot of weight from eating only liquid foods because of my fear of choking again. I felt weak and tired and horrible every single day and I couldn’t help my self no matter how many times I tried to get over it. Everyday just kept getting worse

Dear It gets better,

Thank you for taking the time and effort to post on Care Opinion about your experiences and a vivid insight into what it is like to have anxiety. I do hope that things did get better for you and of course, if the mental health service or your GP can help at all please let us know.

Kind Regards,
