About: Sligo/Leitrim Mental Health Services / Sligo Child and Adolescent Community Mental Health Services

(as the patient),

I was a patient with CAMHS for the past year and a half. During this time I found the staff very helpful and understanding , They listened and provided excellent counselling to me. I felt very comfortable and at ease at all times during my regular appointments.

I dealt mostly with Siobhan and I found her to kind caring and friendly at all times. She has excellent communication skills and empathy towards others. I would also like to mention that Dr, McLoughlin was very helpful to me also along with my dietician Rachael.

Thank you for taking the time to post this feedback for our CAMHS service. Your feedback highlights the importance of us not only listening and communicating but of truly taking the time to understand and empathise with what it must be like for a young person attending our services and to understand your experiences in your life. We are very lucky to have Clinicians such as Rachel, Siobhan and one of our former Doctors, Dr. McLoughlin work in our service. The team members you worked with are deeply passionate and committed to child & adolsecent mental health and when I read your feedback I feel like you experienced that level of interest and commitment during your time with us.

Thank you for making the space to attend your regular appointments and for making it possible for CAMHS to support you. I will share your wonderful feedback with our CAMHS team. Thank you again and I wish you all the best.
