"We had a great experience"

My son has being with camhs for over a year now. We are finally coming to the end of our journey with camhs.

Getting into the service was difficult but once we got through the doors we were welcomed so warmly. The slt Caira was amazing with my son and she was even more amazing with me. She validated my feelings and let me know I wasn't going crazy.

We were referred on to a trauma nurse called aisling, and this is where our journey really began. my son took to her instantly, he was at ease and was able to start his therapy with her. She kept me in the loop with everything. She listened to my fears and reassured me I was doing a good job. Aisling was non judgmental, she was there to support my son but also helping me deal with the behavior. Aisling really help me develop skill with out me even realising.

We had a great experience with camhs.
