"Closure of services"

As a member of dochas clubhouse I think it's a joke the way we are been treated by the management of the sligo/Leitrim mental health service. In the last two months the clubhouse has been closed twice for a week because of staff holidays we are aware that the Dr made this decision to close. We have sent letters to members of management and have received no response.

When the clubhouse closes it leaves the members with no where to go. Writing this post here I'm hoping for a response from some of the management to tell me why they think we can just be throwing from pillar to post by closing the clubhouse. I would also invite any member of management to spend a day with us in dochas and see what coming to the clubhouse means to us and what we do in the clubhouse. As we explained to the business manager last year our next port of call will be going to our local T.Ds and local and national newspapers about the way we are being treated.
