"Conflicting information about my condition"

I attend a clinic in Beaumont from time to time. As Beaumont is a teaching hospital, when I attend the clinic I see a different trainee doctor or registrar.

I can get conflicting information about my condition and sometimes the information I get is difficult to understand. I find this very annoying.

After my meeting the trainee doctor or registrar relays our discussion with the consultant in another room. It would be of benefit if this information was passed on while the patient is present. This will ensure that the registrar and/or trainee doctor is listening properly and also lets the patient question the consultant of any information that they don't understand.

It also means that by meeting the consultant frequently, means I'm being treated as a person & not as a patient number.
